Un-Christmas-ing

We have spent the day taking down Christmas decorations inside. Still can't get to the lights outside so they'll have to stay up until the thaw. Sent the boys out to shovel the driveway and instead they had fun burying their little brothers. You can see how much snow we have and how little space there is to pile it up.

I did manage to get a simple gift for my niece completed. Hopefully she'll like it! It's a chenille blanket with 'Jane's butterflies on the other side. I have also made a little jumper and hat to match; I'll get pictures of that up soon.

LOL I just had to laugh at your snow photo - the boys look like they are having so much fun. It reminds me of years gone by when I grew up in Wisconsin by Lake Michigan - oh the snow we had all winter long and the very long drive way that we got to sled in! Good thing dad knew the guy who plowed the county road and had a deal with him to plow our driveway out when he would go by with the plow - our driveway was 1/5th of a mile long.

Wow, we don't have snow here and I haven't seen a lot, but that is the most I have ever seen! I'm worried about your little boys getting buried, though - couldn't a nasty accident happen? I am a worry-wort, I know - you all just stay safe!

HI Lurine
Oh I was worried too! They were suppose to be shovelling the driveway and decided to 'play' instead. Everything was fine though and the boys were just on the backside of the snow.
